Stir to dissolve the sugar.
Add Irish whiskey.
Float lightly whipped cream on top by pouring over the back of a spoon.
Drink coffee through the cream — do not stir.
The cream should be barely whipped — it needs to float and pour gently. Over-whipped cream sinks.
